Hi-

I started out in real estate from a friend visit, we were viewing spectaculiar homes with an exotic flair. The agent was sitting in a nonfurnished home, quietly waiting for the buyer to walk in. There are fabulous homes out there and available, and there are fantastic opportunities to modify a house into your home. The home should fit the occupants, so it may need to go through a little work out. Much preferred to have the home work, rather than have the occupants working for the home. Everyday living is much more pleasureable in spaces that accommodate with ease, rather than waste time, money and efforts. So figuring out what works and what doesn’t for each member of the family is essential to time the next move.

Just one of the reasons I enjoy Tuesday tour day, is to hear special reports from all the great resources around me on particliar houses, needs for houses, good advice in situations from real live transactions, and what our local trend looks like in comparision to the total market. All this gets passed on to my clients as needed.

I live in the western suburbs and enjoy that corner on the market, but find it useful to learn other markets as well. I see it more as being about the individual’s needs. I also believe in participating in my local communities. In business, I like learning about other businesses. As a result, I am involved in the West Hennepin Chamber of Commerce. This is a channel where Businesses meet Cities and Citizens. Where the goal is to create healthy communities.

And, speaking of health, I am all for great food, and great fun. My family and I participate in a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), we grow a variety of vegetables, herbs and fruits in our own garden, and try to support other local farmers. We also enjoy many activities together like golf, boating, water skiing and wake boarding in the warmer months, and skiing, snow shoeing, skating and building magical candles or snow people in the cooler temperatures.
